Frankfurt am Main, July 1, 2025 – Jonas Hoffmann, top triathlete and official brand ambassador for SportBrennstoff, achieved an impressive 5th place at this year's Ironman Frankfurt, finishing as the best German at the 2025 Ironman European Championships. In temperatures exceeding 33 degrees Celsius, Hoffmann completed the 3.8-kilometer swim, 180-kilometer bike ride, and the final marathon in 7:35:55 hours – a new personal best.
The 28-year-old from Butzbach delivered a strong performance in all disciplines, improving significantly in swimming and cycling, especially compared to last year. While many top athletes collapsed from exhaustion at the finish line, Hoffmann remained remarkably fit after seven and a half hours of competition – a success he attributes to his sports nutrition from SportBrennstoff as well as his intensive training in the heat. "I'm super happy, this is my home race. It was truly super emotional. Best German, I'm really happy, even though the heat was truly brutal while running along the Main River," Hoffmann said after the race.
SportBrennstoff, official sponsor of Jonas Hoffmann, warmly congratulates him on this exceptional result. "With his ambition, discipline, and innovative training approach, Jonas embodies precisely the values that SportBrennstoff stands for. We are proud to accompany and support him on his journey," says Ingolf Zschockelt, Managing Director of SportBrennstoff.
With this result, Jonas Hoffmann confirms his status as one of Germany's best triathletes and raises hopes for further top placings in international competitions. He will compete in the Ironman World Championships in Nice this September, aiming to break into the world's top 10.
