Wissenschaftliche-Grundlage SportBrennstoff Sporternährung

Based on various factors and the interaction of fat and carbohydrate metabolism with insulin and adrenaline under different stress conditions, science distinguishes between three main stress areas:

  1. Basic area: Essentially characterized by targeted training of fat metabolism in the lower load range. Also known as so-called Zone 2 training. <60% of the individual VO2 max.
  2. Medium load range: Here, both the load time and the load intensity will be longer or higher than in the basic range. This is also because the body's own glycogen reserves are used up after about 2 hours.
  3. Competition zone: In this zone we are usually >80% of the individual VO2 max. Since adrenaline is effective in this zone, glycogen reserves are released and insulin plays a less important role. Therefore, appropriate sports nutrition is necessary. The duration of the exertion also plays a role.

Paying attention to the stress areas plays an important role in the question of targeted and correct sports nutrition. Energy supply is important in all three areas, but with different emphasis.

This is the reason why our range is divided into three parts: GRUNDLAGE, BELASTUNG and WETTKAMPF. The solution to the challenges of stress-oriented sports nutrition with SportBrennstoff™.
